These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services provided by Let’s Just Talk OK (“we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Let’s Just Talk OK provides a listening and conversation service designed to offer friendly, non-clinical human interaction via telephone or online communication channels.

Our service is intended for companionship, emotional support through conversation, and general wellbeing discussion only.

We are not:

  • A medical service;
  • A mental health crisis service;
  • A counselling or psychotherapy provider;
  • A suicide prevention line;
  • A substitute for emergency services.

If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, you should contact:

999 (Emergency Services);

NHS 111;

Samaritans on 116 123; or

Your GP or local emergency support provider.

ELIGIBILITY

You must:

Be at least 18 years old to use the service; or

Have explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian.

By using our service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

We provide supportive conversation only.

Our agents are not licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, or healthcare professionals unless explicitly stated.

We do not:

  • Diagnose conditions;
  • Provide medical advice;
  • Provide legal advice;
  • Offer financial advice;
  • Guarantee emotional outcomes;
  • Intervene in emergencies.

Users remain solely responsible for decisions made based on conversations with our agents.

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

Payment

All sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service;
  • Cancel bookings;
  • Suspend accounts;
  • Decline future bookings.

Pricing

Prices are displayed on our website and may change at any time.

Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

Failed Payments

If payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend services immediately.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Customer Cancellations

Customers may cancel a session with at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund or rescheduling.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be non-refundable.

Missed Sessions

If a customer fails to attend or answer a scheduled call, the session may be considered completed without refund.

Service Interruptions

Where technical failures occur due to our systems, we may offer a refund, credit, or rescheduled session.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Customers must not:

  • Abuse, threaten, harass, or intimidate agents;
  • Use discriminatory, hateful, or sexually abusive language;
  • Record calls without consent where prohibited by law;
  • Attempt to manipulate or exploit agents;
  • Use the service for illegal purposes;
  • Share explicit or unlawful content.

We reserve the right to terminate calls or suspend accounts immediately for breaches of these rules.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

We respect customer privacy and aim to treat conversations confidentially.

However, confidentiality may be broken where:

Required by law;

There is a credible threat of harm to yourself or others;

Criminal activity is disclosed;

Safeguarding concerns arise.

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

RECORDING OF CALLS

Calls may be monitored or recorded for:

  • Quality assurance;
  • Training;
  • Safety;
  • Dispute resolution.

Where recordings occur, customers consent to such recording by using the service.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, branding, logos, graphics, and written materials remain the intellectual property of Let’s Just Talk OK unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce or distribute our materials without written permission.

DISCLAIMERS

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We make no guarantees regarding:

Emotional outcomes;

Personal improvement;

Compatibility with agents;

Continuous service availability.

We are not liable for personal decisions made following conversations through the service.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Let’s Just Talk OK shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses;
  • Emotional distress;
  • Business losses;
  • Data loss;
  • Missed opportunities;
  • Consequential damages.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
  • Fraud;
  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time where:

These Terms are breached;

Abuse occurs;

Payment issues arise;

Safety concerns exist.

Customers may stop using the service at any time.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically.

Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
