Choose a 30 or 60 minute phone call with Let’s Just Talk OK. Both are booked, one-to-one conversations for adults aged 18 and over in the UK. The difference is the time you reserve and the price, rather than a different kind of service.

30 minutes for £30

Ideal when you need a listening ear, a sounding board, or someone to talk things through with. A half-hour call may suit a catch-up about your day, a particular topic, or the amount of time you want to set aside. You do not need to prepare a story or fill every silence.

60 minutes for £45

Perfect for when you need a bit longer. An hour gives you more time in the same booked conversation if you have several things you would like to talk about or prefer a longer chat. You choose what to share. Booking longer does not promise a particular emotional or health outcome.

Which should I choose?

Choose the length that fits your time, budget and preference. Thirty minutes costs less overall; sixty minutes gives you twice the booked time for £15 more. There is no requirement to choose the longer option. Select the length you want before paying, and check the appointment details in your confirmation.

What happens with either length?

You choose your befriender and an available appointment in the booking form. Same-day calls may be available. Check the booking calendar for your chosen befriender. Your befriender rings the telephone number you provide from our office number. Calls are by phone only and are not recorded. Read how it works for the steps and our FAQ for practical questions.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Check the customer terms before booking. Available appointments are shown in the booking calendar.

Friendly conversation, with clear limits

This is paid befriending, not therapy, counselling, medical advice or a crisis service. Find out more about someone to talk to by phone, or choose and book a call.
